When a church or ministry decides that it wants a presence on the internet, one of three things usually happens:
1. Someone in the church designs the site and hosts it on a free server. The problem with this is that, depending on their level of expertise, the site may not look professional and may not portray the image that you would want your church website to portray. Another problem with Free Hosting is that they will usually place advertisements on your website without your approval.
2. They hire a low cost "Church Website Hosting" company. The problem with this is that you will end up with a "cookie-cutter" church website that looks just like the sites of all of their other customers. The site is not built with your vision in mind to portray the image that you want to portray.
3. They spend thousands of dollars on a professionally designed website. While this option does provide you with a high quality website, it is beyond the budget of many churches.
